Bank of Botswana 1, 2, 5, 10 & 20 Pula Banknote Set
Five-note Bank of Botswana set comprising 1, 2, 5, 10 and 20 pula denominations, all featuring Sir Seretse Khama, Botswana's first president. The pula was introduced in 1976, ten years after independence, replacing the South African rand as Botswana's national currency. The name 'pula' means 'rain' in Setswana, a symbol of prosperity in the arid country.
